Lesson 3: Miracles DO Happen

So, after all of that growing and accepting I managed in the last post, now I am growing and accepting the very real idea of a life change:

A change we can live with since Provo is "our" temple

A change we can *probably* tolerate, since neither of us will be enrolled

An unacceptable yet unavoidable change that comes with the previous change

(plus, no more free games within walking distance :( )

**But Mark, once the biggest BYU fan, said yesterday that he is now a true Aggies fan and will still cheer for the Aggies. My work here is done. :)

The saddest of the changes: a complete step down in the quality of our local ice cream

So, yes, in case you didn't get the message in pictures, we are moving Provo-ward! We both grew up in the area so in some ways it feels like a step back in life, but we are excited to be moving in a direction that is definitely forward. We found out on Friday that, through a *miraculous* chain of events and some very guided angels-on-earth, Mark's internship to be a 4th grade teacher at Farrer Elementary in Provo has been approved. (Officially, this time, no more running around.) Mark is headed down tomorrow for orientation and other new-job fun for the next 10 days, and the students come back on the 19th. I'll be staying here in Logan for a bit longer, although we're still not sure exactly how long.

Now, we are not completely (not really at all) sad about this change, contrary to the pictures above. :) We've been feeling like a move was in order before too long, and it will be so so nice to be so much closer to

Uncle Ken, Doug the Magnificent, and Auntie Leslee

(and the beloved dachshunds who think they are humans)

(and, yes, I did cut Mark out of this picture...)

So, now we just have to find an apartment and an OB and then put our army of volunteer movers to work. :)
